International garden photographer of the year 17

A lovely sunny day at Kew Gardens yesterday for the IGPOTY 17 Awards Ceremony and Exhibition opening. Two of my images (Dance of the Acer Leaf and Ode To A Leaf) appear in the exhibition as Finalists in the Square Crop project. I was also happy to learn that Season of Mists gained a Commended in the hotly contested Abstract Views category bringing my total this year to 2 Finalists, 1 Highly Commended and 2 Commended (see gallery below)

Do visit the exhibition if you can - so many beautiful images on display! It is is at Kew Gardens until March 10 before travelling to other venues across the UK and Europe.
