A collection of images from a recent visit to El Golfo, a small fishing village on the island of Lanzarote. This was part of a very enjoyable and inspiring trip to Lanzarote with BaileyChinnery. Lanzarote may not seem the obvious destination for photography - perhaps many see it as the place to go for "sunbeds and sangria" and not much else but there is so much more to the island, from pretty fishing villages with whitewashed houses to dramatic, volcanic landscapes (reminiscent of Iceland but without the snow and ice). After such a long period when travel was next to impossible due to the pandemic, the sunshine and landscapes of Lanzarote seem to have helped reinvigorate my photography and get me out of a creative rut (hence the title!).
