A Sense of place

​I have always loved to travel and have been fortunate to visit many beautiful places in the world. Lately, I have been thinking a great deal about how travel and tourism impacts on the environment - we all know that climate change is very real and is escalating and those of us who love to travel to far flung places (especially by air) have contributed to this escalation. I don't think I can commit to not travelling overseas at all just yet but I am certainly intending to reduce considerably the amount of travelling I do (particularly by air). It's not enough by a long way but it's a small beginning...
