Venice - Memories & Moods

I have visited Venice a number of times and find it endlessly fascinating, especially in Winter when there are fewer people around and I can wander around freely and encounter a quiet place to explore. Many visitors to this city stay only for a short time and only go to the "honeypot" locations but it's so much more rewarding to stay longer and explore the lesser known areas, imagining how it must have been to live in this city before it became a mass tourist destination. The images below are mostly multiple exposures, showing the beautiful colours and textures of this most beautiful of cities.
