A Meditation on Waterlilies

One of my favourite local walks in the Forest of Dean takes me to a small lake where I spend lot of time, especially during the months of lock-down in 2020 when the lake was so quiet and peaceful.
There are large swathes of waterlilies on one side of the lake which always draw my attention. I love the shape of waterlily pads and the way they are constantly moving and changing colour through the seasons - I could watch them for hours, their gentle movement has a calming effect on my usually too busy brain.
